Location: Corpus Christi, Texas Occupation: Seminary Student/Househusband Family: Four sons, Collin, Aaron, Darren and Brandon. Three of my sons are still at home (two teens and one getting there fast) and my oldest is on loan to the U.S. Army where, for reasons unknown, he insists on exiting fully functional aircraft in flight when he’s not at home with my beautiful daughter-in-law. History: Raised in Buffalo, Texas. If you haven’t heard of it, don’t worry, few people have and they try to forget as soon as possible. I spent twenty years in the Navy and then started working for the Boy Scouts as a District Executive and Summer Camp Director. After three years with the Scouts I was miserable. I had thought about entering ministry way back in High School but ignored the call. Then I realized that God had said “Nineveh” and I had started running in the other direction and that if I didn’t listen there may very well be a whale in my future (Old Testament...Jonah). So now, I’m working on my Masters of Divinity with Asbury Theological Seminary. Hobbies:: Reading, camping and Halo! Name History: I retired from the Navy as a Chief Petty Officer and the name stayed with me when my Summer Camp staff found out. |
