Location: Royse City, Texas

Occupation: (Civilian) Software developer; SQL Server DBA; Geographic Information Systems technician…past seven years. My home office is in Fort Collins , Colorado , but I’ve been working from my house since I moved back to Texas in 2004.

(Military): Spent eight years active duty Air Force (’89-’97) as a Signals Intelligence Collection Operator [Morse code]; two overseas tours -- Southern Italy and Northern Japan . I’ve been in the Air National Guard for the past ten years; Combat Communications; Texas and Wyoming . I’m current a Master Sergeant (E-7).

Family: Married with three kids: Amanda (13); Isaac (7); and Sarah (6). Born and raised in Dallas , but moved to a small town in East Texas at 15. Finished high school and joined the Air Force.

Hobbies: Well, I used to do a fair bit of hunting and fishing before I got married and had kids. But now I spend most of my time on the computer. I’m also the den leader for my son’s Wolf den in the Cub Scouts, so that takes up a good deal of my time. Oh, and of course I play about an hour (or so) of Halo each night.

Name History: JAFO (from the movie Blue Thunder) seemed appropriate when I first started playing maybe a year ago, 'cause I was definitely 'Just Another F’ing Observer'. Although I think I've graduated from that level and can hold my own now.
