About Me: Raised in Hawaii on the windward side of Oahu. Enjoy sailing, free diving, skiing, backpacking, biking, and travel. Work as a ER nurse. (Went back to school at 30 for the RN after working in health care and teaching with my biology degree. Changed my mind about grad school...) Life usually revolves around my two sons, Ian and Dane, and wife, Carie.
Started playing Halo a couple years ago without prior FPS experience. (Haven't a clue what I'm doing with a computer unless its with photoshop or aperture.) Name comes from growing up when my brother (aka Slappy) and some friends made a game of sneaking up and whacking each other in the arm just below the elbow leaving a painful "monkeybump". Don't know why we participated in this juvenile practice but it stuck with me...Plan on passing it on to my kids someday...
