About Me: Born and raised in SE PA.....near Philly. Still and Eagles and Phillies fan....don't follow hockey or basketball much. I do like racing.....used to do that at the old Reading Fairgrounds (half mile dirt), Flemington Speedway (5/8 mile dirt) and Bridgeport Speedway (1/2 mile+ dirt). These were big-block modifieds...tube chassis, fuel injected running straight methanol. Fun stuff but I was owner, driver and part pit crew.....too expensive:-) And a LONG time ago.... Moved to Sarasota, FL about 17 yrs. ago and have been a self-employed artist for about 15 years or so, specializing in murals, mostly. I also do a lot of computer stuff...graphic design, websites (including hosting), some video (see my latest blog entry for an example...sort of)

Family: Have 2 kids from a previous marriage and 4 grand-kids (one more on the way) and started over and have an 8 year old daughter. We currently live in an old house in downtown Sarasota that looks like it belongs in Vermont and my studio/gallery is out back. It's for sale if anyone is interested:-) Mixed use zoning.....you can find it on any of my websites, I think. I'd love to move back north but my daughter goes to school (public) for gifted kids here.....we call them 'smarty-pants'.....great school....grades 2 through 12 so I'm stuck in FL for awhile. Could be worse.....we're about 4 blocks from the bay.
