About Me: Born in Rockford Ill. in 1961 but I call Va Beach Va home. In 84 I joined the Marine Corps and was active duty for 12 years+. served in Desert Shield/Storm and was back over there for southern watch 5 years later. Been around the world and been there and done that so to speak. Moved to Kansas to work for Cessna and then joined the Ks Air Guard full time.

I am currently separated and not looking. We have a son that is an eagle scout and will be starting at KU in the fall.

Personal interests are (NASCAR real and the games) Cubs baseball, there the only team that maters to me and first person shooter games like HALO DAH!!

Name origin: For the last 6 years I have taken time off from work to be a commissioner at the Boy Scout ranch. We wear blue shirts and the boys have called them smurfs for who knows how long. I choose papasmerf on a whim and I'm considering dropping the papa and starting from scratch.
